Q: Why Have I Not Heard About Redox?A: Because until a few years ago, there wasn’t a way to supplement your body’s supply of redox signaling molecules. Without stabilisation, there would be no shelf life for ASEA’s bioactive molecules, and we would not be able to supplement with redox signaling molecules from a bottle. Through the science of ASEA®, now we have stabilised redox signaling molecules. ASEA succeeded in stabilizing balanced Redox Signaling Molecules outside of the body, which was thought to be impossible by many researchers and health experts. Many doctors are starting to recommend ASEA to their patients. Since 1998, medical researchers have written over 1,200 books on this process also known as Reactive Oxygen Species. And over 13,000 peer-reviewed studies on redox signaling have been published, as found on PubMed.gov, the official U.S. research reporting site. Emerging news can be found in a monthly scientific journal - the ARS Discoveries (Antioxidants & Redox Signaling). As research catches up with the groundbreaking nature of ASEA’s redox signaling technology, ASEA will take its place among some of the most significant scientific breakthroughs of the late 20th century.
-
Q: What are the Redox Molecules in ASEA?A: Dr. Aaron Kaufman, DO practices integrative medicine specialist in Albuquerque, NM and has been practicing for 33 years. He has been using ASEA in his practice for 5 years and in this video he explains what are the redox molecules in ASEA.
-
Q: Is ASEA Expensive Salt Water?A: Google is a search engine, not a reasearch engine! In this video Dr Foster Malmed explains why ASEA is not salt water and share a bit about his personal experience.
-
Q: Why Should I Buy from An Authorised Reseller?A: Why buy ASEA products from an authorized associate when you can get them cheaper online from a third party? It can be tempt- ing to save a buck (we all want the best deal, don’t we?), but before you add a product to your cart, you’ll want to consider five things you won’t want to miss out on that you can only get through an authorized ASEA associate. 1. Know you’re getting genuine product. Have you ever received an online order that didn’t live up to your expectations? That’s the risk you run any time you order ASEA products from a third-party retailer such as Amazon, eBay, Shopee, or Lazada. You may receive a product that’s outlived its shelf life, it may have been tampered with, or it may even be counterfeit. When you purchase from an ASEA associate, your products come straight from an ASEA warehouse, guaranteeing genuine, fresh products. 2. Earn points for free product. When you have a regular monthly autoship order, ASEA rewards you with points for free products! Your favorite products are shipped to you automatically, and you receive points equal to up to 20% of the value of every order! Setting up a monthly order is convenient. There are no lock-in contracts, and you can change or cancel at any time. You won’t find these types of discounts or free products on Amazon or eBay. 3. Get a 30-day money-back guarantee. When you purchase through an authorized ASEA associate, you secure a 30-day, no-questions-asked, money-back guarantee1 on ASEA products. The best part? Even if you have used the products, we’ll still give you a refund. 4. Receive education and support. As an ASEA customer, you are part of a worldwide team that wants you to have the best product experience possible. Your associate will provide you support and education resources to help this happen. With years of expertise with this breakthrough technology as well as personal experience, these redox educators can give you answers to any question. 5. Do business with people you can trust. Online reselling is rampant with fraudulent activity. When it comes to ASEA products, one way to sell them at a lower price online is to purchase large volumes using credit card fraud, then sell the products at a discount. Another way is to adulterate the product (they could be selling you anything!).
-
Q: How Do I Know If ASEA Can Help Me?Here are some tips on the best way to determine if an alternative product can help you or not. ️1. First, dive into any research that has been performed on the product or treatment with a critical eye. How credible are the studies, and how credible are the researchers involved? ️ 2. Next, be open to talking with individuals who have used the product themselves, and listen to what they have to say about their own experience. Sometimes individuals can be a great untapped source of valuable information. ️ 3. And third, take just as critical of an approach with "naysayers" as you would with champions of an alternative product or treatment. In other words, carefully examine everything you hear on the Internet. Realize that many people online are misinformed about alternative treatments and haven't actually done their research or tried a product themselves, yet are perfectly content to act as if they know everything about it.
-
Q: What does Redox Mean?A: The term redox is scientific shorthand for reduction-oxidation reaction, a biologically important electron-transfer reaction that plays a significant support role in many of the body’s life-sustaining processes, notably energy-providing metabolic functions.
-
Q: What is cell signalling?A: The healthy upkeep of the body depends on communication between cells in every tissue, organ, and system. This vital intercellular communication ensures that messages are delivered and received to modulate cell production, initiate and sustain repair mechanisms, and perform other restorative processes. The molecules involved in this communication are called cell signaling molecules.
-
Q: Is cell signalling the same as redox signalling?A: During cellular respiration, the body produces small molecules with redox potential. These are redox molecules, and because many of them can perform cell signaling functions, these types of redox molecules constitute their own important class of cell signaling molecules called redox signaling molecules. Any cell signaling function carried out specifically by redox signaling molecules is known as redox signaling.
-
Q: How are Redox signalling molecules produced?A: Redox signaling molecules are produced in every cell of the body through natural metabolic processes. Until the 21st century, such biological processes were the only known source of redox signaling molecules. That changed in the early 2000s, when ASEA developed its groundbreaking, patented process to produce redox signaling molecules from refined salt and purified water—making the first and only supplement on the market verified to contain active redox signaling molecules.
-
Q: If the body produces redox signalling molecules, why would I need a Redox Supplement?"A: While most ordinary dietary supplements provide only nutrients the human body does not synthesize the biological deficiencies caused by aging. Cellular breakdown goes deeper than just nutrition and with the addition of stress, poor diet and air quality, plus other environmental factors, cellular breakdown is further compromised over time. The body’s naturally supplied balance of redox signaling molecules is diminished—creating a need for supplemental redox molecules, like those found in ASEA REDOX Cell Signaling Supplement.
-
Q: Is there a connection between redox signalling and gene expression?A: In 2016, ASEA commissioned a scientific study that used gene expression as the key performance indicator for ASEA REDOX Cell Signaling Supplement. The study found that, over eight weeks, those who drank ASEA REDOX daily experienced a 20–31% beneficial and stable change in gene expression in five genes involved in multiple pathway signaling.
-
Q: What is gene expression?A: The nucleus is the cellular “brain,” which holds information about the cell’s specialized function in small segments of DNA called genes. Gene expression is the process by which genetic information is accessed and applied to orchestrate cellular function; without it, cells would be unable to perform life-sustaining tasks. The supplemental redox molecules found in ASEA REDOX Cell Signaling Supplement have been shown to affect genetic expression in a positive way, up regulating good genes, helping to protect, rejuvenate, and enhance cellular function.
-
Q: What is pathway signalling?A: A series of chain reactions (or cascades) initiated by signals at the cellular level that cue cellular responses for maintaining balanced biological activity, keeping your body functioning and restoring homeostasis. Signaling pathways guide the progression of these cellular responses, including genetic responses, determining their scope and overall effect in the body. Some pathways are extensive and can influence a wide range of physiological behaviors. For example, the genes affected by ASEA REDOX play a significant role in influencing five key areas of health: • Cardiovascular Health • Innate Immune System Response • Inflammation Reduction • Hormone Modulation • Digestive Enzyme Production

-
Q: What kind of research has been done on redox signalling?A: Redox signaling is a maturing area of research within the fields of cell biology and metabolic studies. A peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to understanding the vital impact of redox processes on human health and disease was established in 1999. Estimates put the number of peer-reviewed papers on the topic somewhere in the tens of thousands.
-
Q: When was redox signaling discovered?A: The discovery and study of human cells began in the 19th century, but it wasn’t until the latter part of the 20th century that cells were understood in enough detail to begin observing and theorising the forms of signaling behind cell activity. By 1999, the role of redox within cell signaling was understood and formalized enough to prompt the creation of a peer-reviewed scientific journal on the topic.
-
Q: What happened between the discovery of cells and the discovery of cell signaling?A: The processes of metabolism and cellular respiration saw discoveries in the 1930s and ’40s that illuminated the methods by which the human body uses oxygen and redox processes to fuel vital functions. Research in the 1950s and ’60s provided early clues into the molecular basis of cell signaling, though scientific papers didn’t begin constantly talking about cell signaling as a distinct discipline until the ’80s and ’90s.
-
Q: Where can I find scientific research on redoxDr Dick Walker, emergency physician from Spokane, USA, explains the best website for researching redox.
-
Q: How did ASEA develop its proprietary redox signalling technology?A: ASEA Founder Verdis Norton was first introduced to redox signaling biochemistry while serving on the board of a Utah biotech company. The company’s preliminary work in redox molecule synthesis had produced promising results, but a lack of funds forced them to shelve the project early. Convinced of its breakthrough potential, Verdis and a few close partners pooled resources to acquire the discontinued technology and revive the research. ASEA commissioned its own team of medical professionals, scientists, and engineers to advance the technology, conducting a comprehensive safety analysis and producing a scalable method of production for ASEA REDOX Cell Signaling Supplement and future redox signaling products.
-
Q: Is the technology behind ASEA’s redox product patented?A: Yes. ASEA has patented the processes used to produce its redox products: ASEA REDOX Cell Signaling Supplement, RENU 28 Revitalizing Redox Gel, and RENU Advanced Intensive Redox Serum. Patent information is available by request.
-
Q: How do I know redox products are safe?A: First, it’s important to remember that redox signaling is a natural biological process that safely occurs in every cell of our bodies. The redox signaling molecules in ASEA products are native or bioidentical to the ones our body makes and are easily absorbed, assimilated and utilised. Studies have consistently shown that ASEA’s redox products are safe and effective.
-
Q: Where are ASEA redox products manufactured?A: All ASEA redox products are manufactured at the ASEA Redox Center, an FDA-registered, NSF-registered facility located within a mile of ASEA global headquarters in Pleasant Grove, Utah. The ASEA Redox Center is owned and operated by ASEA to meet all FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). These GMP requirements are listed in Section 8 of NSF/ANSI 173, the only accredited American National Standard in the dietary supplement industry developed in accordance with the FDA’s 21 CFR part 111.
-
Q: How Much ASEA Should I Drink?Years of use among consumers has shown that drinking 4 oz (120ml) of ASEA Redox Supplement per day is sufficient for normal health maintenance. However, when the body is stressed or challenged, it can be beneficial to drink more. Athletes who place high demands on their bodies, for example, drink up to 8 oz (240ml) before intensive training or competitions. Dr Dick Walker is an emergency physician from Spokane, USA shares how much ASEA to consume for effective results.
-
Q: Will ASEA help me with _______?Listen to Dr Dick Walker from Spokane, USA answer this question.
-
Q: I am on a low sodium diet, can I drink ASEA?"1 oz /30ml of ASEA has less salt than a single carrot. Check the label where the salt content is indicated to calculate for any sodium restricted diet. Typically, adults consume an average of 4,000 mg of sodium daily. Sodium-restricted diets may aim for 1,500 mg. One piece of whole wheat bread contains 210 mg of sodium. The sodium content of a typical daily amount of a Redox beverage (4 oz/120ml) contains 123 mg of sodium. Dr Dick Walker from Spokane, USA shares about using ASEA on a sodium restricted diet.
-
Q: How long does it take for ASEA to work?Dr Dick Walker is an emergency physician from Spokane, USA. Listen to his comments on how long it will take for ASEA to work.
-
Q: Will ASEA interfere with Medications?Redox molecules are “transparent” to pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals. They do not interfere with or conflict with anything else you are eating or taking. Our internal organs do not need to metabolise redox signalling molecules, they are assimilated, like water, through simple diffusion. The redox molecules are composed of just 4 or fewer tiny atoms and are essentially the size of H2O molecules. Dr Dick Walker is an emergency physician from Spokane, USA sharing about consuming ASEA when taking medications.
-
Q: What Happens If I Stop Drinking ASEA?In the case of scar tissue regenerating, if you stop using the redox, then the scar will not come back. If you can resolve the underlying cause of your health challenge, then it will not come back. However studies and experience shows you will lose the ongoing cellular health benefits of the redox relatively quickly; one study outcome was 8 weeks. The ongoing benefits of the redox will likely help prevent the issue from returning as well. e.g. Redox helps the immune system clarify what is and isn't a threat - sensitivities, allergies and autoimmune diseases. Dr Dick Walker is an emergency physician from Spokane, USA explains what happens when you stop drinking ASEA.
-
Q: Can I Mix ASEA With Other beverages?Redox beverage is to be consumed in its pure form. Mixing it with other beverages or flavors will denature the product and render the active redox signaling molecules ineffective.
-
Q. What is the difference between a redox supplement and alkaline water?A: Most alkaline waters on the market are produced by hooking up ordinary tap water to an electrolysis chamber that filters the water and separates it into its alkaline and acidic components. The alkaline water is generally unstable and should be consumed immediately, while the acidic water is generally dangerous to ingest. ASEA Redox Supplement is not alkaline water. It starts as ultrapure water and salt that then undergoes a complex multi-step electrochemical process over three days. Complex chemistry and physics are involved in the production process, with tightly controlled quality assurance and production parameters and neutral pH (7.35). The finished product contains a perfectly balanced, safe, stable mixture of redox signaling molecules such as those natively produced by the mitochondria inside all cells in your body.
-
Q: Does a redox supplement contain chlorine?A: No chlorine is added to our ASEA Redox Supplement. However, a trace amount of chlorine is created in ASEA Redox Supplement’s pristine saline solution as a by-product of the patented process it goes through to create redox signaling molecules. It exists in low doses and causes none of the irritation that chlorine can cause in higher concentrations.
-
Q: Why doesn’t the ingredients list redox molecules?Redox molecules are made using water (H2O) that has been highly purified by both reverse osmosis and distillation. The pure water is then combined with pure salt (NaCl) before undergoing a patented process that oxidises and reduces the saline into the final atomically restructured liquid. During processing, most of the chloride ions are integrated into redox molecules. Sodium ions are not affected and help to maintain electrical neutrality. Hydrogen and oxygen also contribute to the formation of redox molecules, but most of the water forms a matrix of clusters around the active redox molecules and ions. This micro-clustering further contributes to stability and electrical neutrality. The result is no longer a saline solution; no longer salt and water. It is a balanced buffet of redox molecules. The raw materials have been completely transformed. Some people ask why redox molecules are not listed under “Ingredients” on the label. When we look at the ingredients on a loaf of bread, we might see flour, water, sugar, oil, yeast, but nowhere on the ingredients list does it say “bread”. The raw ingredients are listed, not the final product. It’s the same with redox molecules. The beginning ingredients are salt and water. The finished product is something very different. While the ASEA product is the same around the world, different regulatory environments mean a lot more is included on the bottle that ships in the United States. Check out all the details that are included on the USA bottle. You can download a copy of the USA bottle label here
-
Q: Are there any precautions with drinking a Redox beverage?Redox beverage is proven safe to all tissues, organs, and systems of the body. But because it is so effective in supporting cellular messaging, it may increase the efficiency of certain message carriers in the body, such as hormones, insulin, and adrenaline. If you take any medication of this type, carefully monitor yourself and make adjustments to compensate, with the aid of your doctor, if needed. Dr Foster Malmed shares his thoughts on the safety of ASEA.

-
Q: Renu is making my skin dry, what Should I Do?"A: Your skin may experience a temporary dryness when you first start to use Renu 28. This is part of the process of the skin cell renewal cycle shortening (like younger skin) and lots of old skin coming away. You can try using an exfoliant a couple of times a week in the shower and also using moisturiser after your Renu 28 is dry. The studies done on Renu 28 actually found it improved skin moisture so over time you will find your skin becomes more hydrated using Renu 28.
-
Q: What is Sodium Magnesium Fluorosilicate Used in Renu 28?Sodium Magnesium Fluorosilicate is a clay that is used as an emulsifier in RENU 28 for both its safety and its ability to emulsify and not de-stabilize the Redox molecules in RENU 28. The benefits of Sodium Magnesium Fluorosilicate are many and include: non-toxic, non-yellowing, excellent consistency, does not support microbial growth and appears as an ultra-clear gel. It has been tested by the renowned dermatological research institute, Dermatest, and found to be completely safe and effective in human clinical trials. This kind of clay is akin to the naturally occurring Hectorite clay, a relative of Bentonite clay. ASEA uses a laboratory created version of this same natural clay, using the same mineral ‘recipe’ that nature does. It is lab made due to the need for an absolutely pure product free from any naturally occurring contaminants or cells. Is hectorite and its derivatives safe? According to the International Journal of Toxicology, quaternium-18 hectorite has little to no systemic toxicity and is only mildly irritating to the eyes. The clay and its derivatives aren’t easily absorbed through the skin. Therefore, little, if any, of this ingredient reaches the bloodstream from products applied topically. It also doesn’t appear to sensitize skin to the sun or increase the risk of allergies or contact dermatitis. The Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep Cosmetics Database classifies quaternium-18 hectorite as a low/no-hazard cosmetic ingredient. There has been some confusion between the Sodium Magnesium Fluorosilicate used in RENU 28 and Sodium Fluorosilicate. Sodium Fluorosilicate is a completely different ingredient that is in pesticides. These are unrelated substances with completely different chemical structures, so users of RENU 28 should rest easy knowing that RENU 28 contains no toxic chemicals or ingredients that would damage their skin or their health. References: http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/ingredient/723815/SODIUM_MAGNESIUM_FLUOROSILICATE/
-
Q: What are the active ingredients in Renu 28?A: Don’t think of RENU 28’s ingredients as active; its four ingredients, water, sodium magnesium fluorosilicate, monosodium phosphate, and sodium chloride. The second and third mentioned ingredients simply serve as a carrier system for the active redox signaling molecules in this skin revitalizing gel. Redox signaling molecules in RENU 28 are what make the product unique.
-
Q: Why do I need to shake Renu 28?A: The gel carrier for the concentrated ASEA liquid is like a sponge or matrix that holds the ASEA liquid on the skin until it is absorbed. Like a sponge on a counter, at times the liquid seeps out. Shaking the tube ensures the molecules are fully suspended in gel form when squeezed out. These structures will hold the concentrated ASEA liquid on the skin to maximise absorption.
-
Q: How should redox gel be stored?A: Store redox gel at room temperature, out of direct sunlight.
-
Q: Can RENU 28 be used under make-up?A: RENU 28 is non-greasy. It is applied to skin that has been cleansed and dried, before anything else is applied. After RENU 28 has dried, the skin is left with a feeling of being tightened and refreshed. Make-up, moisturizer or other salves or lotions can then be applied.
-
Q: Can RENU 28 withstand extreme temperatures?A: Because of the other ingredients in the RENU 28, it should be stored at room temperature and not subjected to extreme heat. It can be thawed and used if frozen for a short time, but should never be microwaved. Always shake briefly before using. The tube materials used for RENU 28 are very specific for the product, and heat could shorten their shelf life.
-
Q: Can you ingest RENU 28?A: This is a product intended to be used externally, not internally. Although RENU 28 contains no toxic ingredients, it’s not advised for ingestion. The clay-based substance which forms the gel matrix to hold the concentrated reactive Redox Signaling Molecules may have an effect on the digestive system resulting in either constipation or diarrhea.
-
Q: Can you use RENU 28 on your eyelids and under your eyes?A: Absolutely, RENU 28 can be applied to the most sensitive external areas of the body, such as around the eyes and over the eyelid. This provides skin cells with the much-needed restoration of Redox Signaling Molecules applied to where they’re needed most.
-
Q: What if you happen to get RENU 28 in your eye?A: The ingredients in RENU 28 are 100% safe and non-toxic, so no permanent damage can occur. However, there are small granules in the matrix which make up the gel portion of RENU 28 which may be irritating to the eye.
-
Q: Can I Use ASEA To Enhance My Athletic Performance?A: Dr Aaron Kaufman answers this question.
